Unique in France: transvenous electrical cardioversion is available at the Meslay clinic!
The technique of transvenous electrical cardioversion, until now only available abroad, is now practiced at the Clinique équine de Meslay. It is used to treat horses suffering from cardiac arrhythmia: atrial fibrillation.
For several weeks, our medical team, headed by veterinarians Dr. J. M. and Dr. J. M. B., has been working on the development of a new medicine. Dr. Lisa De Lange (European Specialist in Internal Medicine, ECEIM), Drs. Stéphane Cuiller and Dr. Veronica Cadringher, has trained to offer this long awaited state-of-the-art treatment in France.
