“I have Spanish and Dutch origins. I have always lived in Belgium since I was 2 years old. I speak Dutch, French, English and Spanish
I graduated from the veterinary school in Ghent, Belgium, and did a one-year internship at the Meslay clinic. Then, I went to Australia for a month to deepen my knowledge in equine reproduction, I have been an ambulatory veterinarian at the clinic since then”.
What she likes and motivates her in her job?
“I find my motivation in the relationships, in the work, with my owners to take care of the horses that come under my care. Every day, my knowledge improves with the contact of not only my colleagues but also my clients. To be able to do a complete follow-up of the horses from their home to the clinic. And to feel satisfaction when a horse is saved or when it performs well.
Outside the Clinic?
“I love to travel. Colombia really made an impression on me, as well as Martinique and Guadeloupe. Yes, I like the heat (is that Spanish blood?!). I do sports (cross-fit, swimming and running), music festivals. I like my animals and since last spring, I have officially become a breeder of a small thoroughbred foal, which I hope to see on a racetrack one day.
