Once the stage 2 of foaling is underway, you only have 40 minutes to save the foal. Each additional 10-minute increment decreases the chance of survival by 10%.<\/p>\n<p>At the Meslay-du-Maine Clinic, we perform a CVD (controlled vaginal delivery) when conventional foaling is impossible.
